Golden View Elementary

Hi! My name is Frances White and I’m the PTA President for this upcoming school year. I have 2 Gators, Maximus in 1st and Madison in Kindergarten. I’m fairly new to the area but very excited and passionate about our wonderful school that my children and I have come to love.

 

The mission of the PTA this year is rebuilding social emotional wellness and relationships through inclusive hospitality. Now that we’ve all gone through a period of social isolation, let’s recognize our need for community and come together to make those social connections.

 

I’m so excited to have the opportunity to help rebuild our community after a year of remote and hybrid learning. Since the end of the last school year, the PTA has begun planning events to bring us back together. First and foremost, TK and Kindergarten playdates have been ongoing over the summer. Due to positive feedback, these playdate opportunities were extended to First and Second graders as well.

 

Finally, the PTA will be hosting a number of Back to School events including, a Meet Your Teacher Back-to-School Social for kids, a Back to School Coffee for adults, and a Back to School Breakfast for the teachers. Please see the newsletter below for more details. 

 

Please join the PTA, as a member or as a volunteer, as we work together to build a stronger community and school environment for our students, families, and teachers.
